1/20/08: Plano, TX Wrapping up a VERY busy weekend at the incredible model train show in Plano. If you’ve never been to a DFW Train Show event, you’re missing out. But don’t fret—there’s more coming in 2008. Learn more at www.dfwtrainshows.com. If you have a little one who likes Thomas, trust me, they will LOVE the train show! Thanks to all our customers who stopped by to say hello and a special thanks to Raymond Lindeen from Houston Analytics, who spent two full days at our booth doing free lead testing with the NITON XRF Analyzer.
1/2/08: Canton, TX After a record holiday season, we’re looking forward to a great 2008. The January market weather is forecast to be BEAUTIFUL! We’ll have some new items in stock as well—a shipment is due this week but we won’t know what new stuff we got ‘til we open the boxes!
11/4/07: Canton, TX We’d like to thank our repeat and new customers for helping us set a new sales and attendance record at Nottingham Station. Santa sent hundreds of elves (disguised as grandpas, grandmas, moms, dads, aunts & uncles) to get Thomas sets and play tables and lots and lots of trains ready for the big day! City officials estimate 400,000 visitors to First Monday.
10/27/07: Rusk, TX The Nottingham family visited Thomas today at the Day Out in Rusk, TX. What a great venue for a Day Out With Thomas! We’ve been to Grapevine twice and it doesn’t compare. The Rusk event is in the piney woods and the train ride goes through some beautiful country. The setting is an old-time train depot and the other activities are spread out over a large area with lots of room to run and play. The park has lots of picnic tables that overlook a nice lake. This is how a Day Out With Thomas should be!
10/13/07: Fort Worth, TX Nottingham Station set up at our first train show at the 25th Anniversary Lockheed-Martin Railroad Club Show. Wow—the scale model trains were amazing! If you have not been to a model railroad event with your Thomas fan, you are missing out on a lot of fun. Model railroaders are devoted to their hobby and love to share and show off the fruits of hundreds of hours of meticulous attention to detail.
